Hi Maria: It isn’t obvious from the documentation, but if you try creating an archetype following the instructions in http://maven.apache.org/archetype/maven-archetype-plugin/examples/create-multi-module-project.html, and look at the generated project, yes, it is velocity templates that are generated.
