Howdy, That is my experience as well, IDEA is good, but sometimes has glitches (my current pet peeve with the latest version is that Maven "Refresh" does not refresh in some cases).
And yes, the Maven CLI is the "golden standard", that is what we can support -- sorta. Everything else, like IDE integrations, tools using it, etc... Well, bummer.
