Just for information, the proposed 4.0.0-beta-2 version of the compiler
plugin does not use Plexus anymore. I'm not sure how Plexus works, but
4.0.0-beta-2 invokes javax.tools.JavaCompiler directly with pure Java
code, so it should not have such command-line limitations (unless using
the fork option).
