In addition CLI is necessary for some of the weblogic generation routines. In
particular it's SOAP config generation routines will not run under Maven as ant
tasks. They must be run using the BEA supplied version of ant to run
consistently. We have a few small maven.xml files that call the EJB and SOAP
generation tasks for a few projects that I'll dig up. I have not had the time
to sit down and turn them into a plug-in yet. They may be of some help.

Hi Ryan,

I suggest to add you and any other contributors as developer to the
Maven plugins project. I'm of little help here since I do not use BEA
but I can assist on releasing the plugin before I shift this
responsibilty to someone else ... :-) . If we go in this direction I
need your SF id to setup your permissions.

IMHO the CLI execution is fine since the JAR is huge (37 MB for 8.1.2.0)
and includes a lot of stuff which could result into conflicts depending
on BEA and Maven version.

Cheers,

Siegfried Goeschl
