We're at Maven 1, and (apart from it's horrible config) CC performs well.

We're running about 80 component projects (leaf projects) plus 13
"multiproject" based installers (Using InstallAnywhere) spread over 5
different branches -
all in one CC instance.

It performs adequately for us.
