The eclipse plugin is included by default 
try running mvn eclipse:eclipse. It will generate the project/classpath 
files for you automatically.

You can of course set up the projects manually, but it's a lot of work.

I typically use the follwing setup:

c:\projects
c:\projects\myproject\
c:\projects\myproject\EAR
c:\projects\myproject\WAR
....
c:\projects\myproject\EJB
c:\projects\myproject_workspace

The advantage of this is that you don't mess up your project folder with 
workspace settings.
