Hi Jorg,

May be I didn't make myself clear :)

In fact I did use the install:install-file and deploy:deploy-file
to install/deploy 3rd party JARs.

The only concern, as I state in previous email, is it does not
includes dependencies (which I think most 3rd party lib
requires such declarations).

In order to install/deploy 3rd party artifacts in a "right way"
I think I need to put dependencies in the POM if the generated
POM is not enough.

I just wonder, if I miss anything that normally needs in a
self-produced POM, if I want that POM in a 'production quality'?

Well, I think your "This is the only reason to create own ones."
give me the answer ;)

Thanks a lot :)

Adrian

Let Maven generate those POMs (option -DgeneratePOM=true).

This is the only reason to create own ones.

Only if it makes your task of creationg own POMs for the depenencies easier ...
depends on the artifact's relationships.
