Hi Phillippe, I also used such way before (I did read documentation :P ) but the main concern is, if I have not put dependency declarations myself and use the generated vanilla POM instead, I gotta 'resolve' the dependency myself and put it in my projects' POMs.
As I will need to setup an internal repository for use of my company, I want to make those 3rd party artifact deployed in a right way that can ease the usage for our developers :) Thanks for your reply anyway ^__^ Adrian -----Original Message----- From: Philippe Faes [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, October 04, 2006 9:16 PM To: Maven Users List Subject: Re: What to put in 3rd party lib POM? Adrian I just install the jar file without writing a pom: $ mvn install:install-file Check out these guides: http://maven.apache.org/guides/mini/guide-3rd-party-jars-local.html http://maven.apache.org/guides/mini/guide-3rd-party-jars-remote.html Works fine for fixing dependencies.
