Clover Plugin doesn't generate XML report

I've set

<configuration>
   <generateXml>true</generateXml>
</configuration>
as described on 
http://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-clover-plugin/howto.html,

but the plugin doesn't seem to produce the XML report.

Did I miss something? Which file is the XML report supposed to be 
generated to?
