Hi guys, I have saw some guides like the following, http://maven.apache.org/guides/mini/guide-assemblies.html <plugin> <artifactId>maven-assembly-plugin</artifactId> <configuration> <descriptor>src/main/assembly/dep.xml</descriptor> </configuration> </plugin> Why can not set groupId and artifactId? Then how do Maven to deal with the plugin? Mave would search the whole local repository, then find it(the artifactId is unique), and use the last version? If the artifactId is duplicted, what would happen?
