I have seen many people talk about this problem, but I have not seen a solution for this. The Maven2 Eclipse plugin does not read the settings.xml file in %M2_HOME%/conf. I am familiar with http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MNGECLIPSE-29. May someone please tell me what I can do have Eclipse pick up the settings.xml file? The developers here are considering this to be a serious problem, and I honestly cannot propose a solution. May someone please help me?
