I tried the war plugin like this:
<plugin>
<groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId>
<artifactId>maven-war-plugin</artifactId>
<version>2.0.2</version>
<configuration>
<dependentWarIncludes>${basedir}/target/generated-sources/*.xml</dependentWarIncludes>
</configuration>
</plugin>
but generated xml files located at ${basedir}/target/generated-sources/*.xml
do not get included again.
