I just filed MRM-674 which is preventing us from deploying our nightly build distribution with Archiva. I think this bug is a subtle dupe with MRM-632 and MRM-658.
Put together, these bugs seem pretty serious for anyone using SNAPSHOT dependencies. It sure would be nice if somebody were to fix this bug soon-ish.
