Rather than just asking when it's going to be done, though, the developers might like to hear that you have successfully used it for X or Y -- i.e., give them some confidence that it's ready to be released. Checking JIRA might also give an idea of what's left to be done (whether there are any blocking issues) but I don't see a project for it on http://jira.codehaus.org/browse .
