No idea, but it looks like all the related issues are closed. It's likely nothing further will happen unless an issue gets reopened or a new issue is raised. (It's also possible there's a technical reason the fix for 2.1 can't be backported to 2.0.) Have you tried 2.0.9-SNAPSHOT? If you can't find an open issue that describes the problem you're still having with 2.0.x, I'd open another.
