Hi guys,
Im trying to set up a project which packages to an ear. I have tow
specific requirements that I need to satisfy.
A) supply my own application.xml and a number of other configuration
files
B) allow these to be filtered with variable substitutions into the
produced ear file
Now I note that there is an open JIRA ticket for this, but I cannot seem
to get the suggested workaround running on maven 2.0.8.
I have tried the following:
1) application.xml is in src/main/resources/META-INF
2) I have switched resource filtering on for this dir
<resources>
<resource>
<directory>src/main/resources</directory>
<filtering>true</filtering>
</resource>
</resources>
2) application.xml is in src/main/resources/META-INF
3) Ear source is pointed to the resources dir:
<earSourceDirectory>src/main/resources</earSourceDirectory>
Now this seems to accomplish A) correctly, as my application.xml gets
picked up and used, however this is the unfiltered version, not the
filtered version that gets put in target\classes\META-INF\
Am I doing something wrong, or is there no workaround for this?
