The general principle behinh Maven is one project = one file produced. However, there are some rares cases that go beyond this point : in that case, you can use the Maven build helper plugin to attach new artifacts to the main artifact and both will be installed: see http://mojo.codehaus.org/build-helper-maven-plugin
