All, While trying to execute a maven goal install against a project, sometimes I see the behavior where it starts to scan for projects, within the project I am building, and the java process consumes 100% of my CPU resources for hours, where it should take seconds. Does anyone know why this might be? This only happens on my test servers, and not on production. The biggest difference between the two is that the productions run Windows XP and the test servers are running Windows 2000.
