The uniqueVersion flag only controls deployment. Generally the way
Maven behaves with snapshots is that it will use metadata first
(hence, timestamps), then the other, so if you mix you get the
timestamps. This is a bug in Maven - it should write metadata that
says not to use the unique version.
In the mean time, removing the old snapshots from Archiva should
resolve the issue.
