Hi,
I have maven2 and eclipse 3.4 in my windows vista system. I tried to run the following mvn command, but got some error. I belileve it is a version issue. d:\workspace>mvn archetype:create -DarchetypeGroupId=org.springframework.ws -Dar chetypeArtifactId=spring-ws-archetype -DarchetypeVesrion=1.0.0 -DgroupId=com.myt utorial -DartifactId=simpleWeb2 [INFO] Scanning for projects... Then, install it using the command: mvn install:install-file -DgroupId=org.springframework.ws -DartifactId=sprin g-ws-archetype -Dversion=RELEASE -Dpackaging=jar -Dfile=/path/to/file Alternatively, if you host your own repository you can deploy the file there: mvn deploy:deploy-file -DgroupId=org.springframework.ws -DartifactId=spring- ws-archetype -Dversion=RELEASE -Dpackaging=jar -Dfile=/path/to/file -Durl=[url] -DrepositoryId=[id] org.springframework.ws:spring-ws-archetype:jar:RELEASE [INFO] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [INFO] For more information, run Maven with the -e switch [INFO] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [INFO] Total time: 41 seconds [INFO] Finished at: Thu Aug 21 22:43:57 EST 2008 [INFO] Final Memory: 8M/15M [INFO] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ How to modify the mvn command to execute it correctly? Thanks Sam
