I believe so... according to JIRA support was added in February, and there have been some 1.0 alpha releases since then. http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/CARGO-563 (And rumor has it, before that it worked fine if you just used the tomcat5 instructions and pointed it at tomcat6.)
