On the activemq mailinglist there are message from people that have run this command succesfully (but got stuck in some later fase of the code generation). Also the FAQ at http://docs.codehaus.org/display/MAVENUSER/FAQs-1#FAQs-1-novalidversion Talks about this particular problem. I've tried the workaround in http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MNG-2408 but to no avail. The FAQ also suggests that: "If the error persists, browse archived discussions, post to the Maven user list, or ..." > Knowing that this plugin is a product of the ActiveMQ team, why aren't > you asking them? Asked them too, but got no reply. I've also googled this extensively, and to me it feels like I am missing something obvious, and was hoping for a clue so I can search further.
