Grep your ~/.m2/ directory for servicemix.org and see if it might be in a random artifact's pom that is being brought into your build as a direct dependency or transitive. Probably your settings.xml does not specify <mirrorOf>*</mirrorOf> but only <mirrorOf>central. This means only central will be accessed via your Archiva instance.
