Hi All,
Hi Scott,

I noticed Mina 1.1.7 is listed as stable in the download section of the Mina web page, while Mina 2.0.0-M5 is listed as unstable. Any idea when Mina 2.0 might have a stable release? Has this been previously announced?
'Stable' and 'Unstable' have a special meaning. They are not related to how buggy is the code for an 'unstable' version, it's much more related to the expected API changes. In the MINA 2.0-M5 case, the API is supposed to be frozen, so it could be seen as 'stable'.

In any case, we don't release when there are blocking or critical bugs (sadly, they are deeply hidden and discovered _after_ each releases ...:/ )

I'd like to use Mina 2 over Mina 1, but its unclear how long I might be waiting for a stable version.
If I were you, I would used MINA 2.0. It's way better than MINA 1.0, and it's guaranteed to evolve in the good direction. There have been barely no effort on MINA 1.0 since last year, and I'm afraid that as soon as MINA 2.0 will be out, that will be the end of life of MINA 1.0 (except extremely importants bugs).

Hope it helps.
