Possible to use MyFaces extensions with JSF RI?

Does anyone know if it's possible to use the MyFaces extensions with the JSF 
RI? Specifically, I want to use the x:inputFileUpload component. I would use 
MyFaces for everything, but, the Web browser back button behavior is less 
troublesome with the RI, so, I want to stick with that.
