Is the FacesServlet mapped to the /faces/ URL pattern? If so, then you are probably looking at a link to a resource that is located on the server. When the request for that resource is made, the FacesServlet intercepts this, pulls the resource, and pipes this to the repsponse. If you browse some of the jar files that come with myfaces, you'll find all sorts of images and other files that are served this way. The author probably did not intend for the application developer to pull these resources manually, although you could. ---- Original message ---- >Date: Thu, 7 Jul 2005 16:43:40 -0400 >From: "Balaji Saranathan" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Subject: Help in understanding >To: "'MyFaces Discussion'" <[email protected]> > > Hi, > > Can anyone explain me or point to an explanation of > how the resources are read from the jar files in > MyFaces Components.
