Hi I think that the "Getting started with Apache Myfaces" (http://myfaces.apache.org/gettingstarted.html) page sould be updated with regards to dependencies: # There is no more $MYFACES/lib directory in either thesource or binary distribution file (at least int the zip-file). # Some of the libraries have versions, some have not. It is nice to know, whether you can use the newest versions of e.g. some of the Jakarta Commons libraries or not. Also e.g. Hibernate might have a different set of libraries ... # For those that have no version I came up with the following version numbers based on version 1.0.9: * Commons EL: 1.0 * Commons Logging: 1.0.4 * Commons Validator: 1.2.0-dev (which build?) * Jakarta ORO: ??? I use the one from MyFaces 1.0.9, which is a pre ORO 2.0.x version without details in the Manifest
=> Could some of the developers please verify the versions and possibly update the webpage? => If the dependencies no longer are part of the distribution (which I would prefer), then I would suggest to have links to the Jakarta projects in the table on the getting started page. Thanks ... Rick
