I don't know of any examples off-hand, but I've been using Tomahawk & Facelets for 18 months with no issues.
The only "tomahawk-specific" part would be adding a tomahawk namespace entry at the top of your page to one of your root elements and adding a tomahawk taglib.xml file to your facelets library list.
