Hi Owen,

There's more traffic on the Apache Netbeans list, at least for advanced users and developers. Your problems may be more suitable to post there. Below is a link:

Best regards,

While I've been doing my own thing for about 18 years, and not really having much to say about my observations of what others are doing, I have been looking on from a comfortable distance. Recently months observing a lack of general activity on this news list might forebode something stranger than a lack of interest in correcting what could be a future problem with the NB profiler. If anyone can hear me now: I'm still here, and working on my problems - one's that I think AI isn't able to reach yet.

Happy to hear back from someone. :)

        Hello fellow NB users.

I have recently taken to the profiler supplied with my NB 28,
and I'm getting the following set of warning messages appear
in my applications' system console output:

WARNING: A Java agent has been loaded dynamically
        (/usr/lib/apache-netbeans/profiler/lib/jfluid-server-15.jar)
WARNING: If a serviceability tool is in use, please run with
        -XX:+EnableDynamicAgentLoading to hide this warning
WARNING: If a serviceability tool is not in use, please run
        with -Djdk.instrument.traceUsage for more information
*WARNING: Dynamic loading of agents will be disallowed by
        default in a future release
*WARNING: A restricted method in java.lang.System has been called
WARNING: java.lang.System::load has been called by
        org.netbeans.lib.profiler.server.ProfilerServer in an unnamed
        module
WARNING: Use --enable-native-access=ALL-UNNAMED to avoid a
warning for callers in this module
*WARNING: Restricted methods will be blocked in a future
release unless native access is enabled

        *
The lines in bold font are my emphasis, for these lines in
particular, make me concerned that I will find that the
profiler does not work in a later version of the IDE.

So, my questions are: Has this issue been addressed in a later
version? If so, which one? If not, is this issue likely to be
        addressed soon?

        TFYH.

          Owen.
