Hi Rick,

I believe that the Interactive Queue Management feature proposal does in fact
encompass the feature that you are requesting.

It does work slightly differently, though. Whereas you are suggesting that you
want to add a processor to the graph, the Queue
Management feature would mean that there is no need to add that processor.
Instead, you could just click on any connection/queue
on the graph at any time and view the FlowFiles that are currently in that
queue. From there, you would be able to click on any of
those FlowFiles and view the FlowFile attributes and FlowFile content.

This would then provide the real-time inspection capability that you are
proposing, while the Provenance interface would expose
the same type of information for historically processed data.

Is there more to this Inspection concept that you are proposing that I am
missing?

In terms of feature proposals, you can submit a JIRA ticket at [1], or you can
just send e-mails to the alias as you did this time, so
that the ideas can be discussed further.

Thanks!
-Mark
