I was holding my solution for when I saw someone else with the same problem(s). Multiple fixes 1. RHEL 6.7 needed libnetfilter_conntrack, libmnl, and libnfnetlink compiled/installed 2. /etc/hosts and/or DNS. Most of the handshake/configuration for RPG works fine with IPs, but data flow between (cross platform) servers really wanted to use hostnames.
