You can control various settings related to provenance.  Those are
talked about here [1]

Look for the section that talks about the 'Provenance Repository'.
There is some strong language there about changing the implementation.
But there is a volatile repository you can use.  That is less fun for
sure because it basically means you won't retain provenance events and
don't get the cool replay, click-to-content, visual what happened to
the flow stuff.  However, there are some other valuable properties in
there.  You can write to multiple partitions at once, you can have
more threads for indexing, control amount of retention, etc..
