Yes, see the admin guide [1] and also the migration guide [2] for changes to the sensitive properties configuration for nifi 1.14+.
Basically, you need to provide a value for this property in a clustered environment. Earlier versions of nifi used a default value, but for a cluster the value needs to be constant across all nodes, hence the need to specify it yourself.
