Tas, Upgrading NiFi Registry from 1.25.0 to 1.27.0 should be very straightforward. There are no special notes in the Migration Guide for those versions.
1. Install nifi-registry-1.27.0 in a new directory 2. Capture all of the changes you made to files in the conf directory of your nifi-registry-1.25.0 install 3. Make the same changes to files in the conf directory of your new nifi-registry-1.27.0 4. If your conf/providers.xml used a "Flow Storage Directory" or "Extension Bundle Storage Directory" that was a relative path inside your 1.25.0 install, you should probably copy the contents of those directories to a location that is not inside the nifi-registry install and use the new directories for your 1.27.0 5.
