Hi Hanno, as a workaround you could load two layers with different timestamps. One layer you set opacity to 0 and shows it not in the layerswitcher. When you choose the next time, the tiles should be there and the tiles for the next time are loaded invisible. Arnd

This layer shows polygons at a specific time. Now you can click a button and the next time will be shown in the map. You can change the time back of course, too. In my solution there are timestamps from the year 1980 up to 2009. This works fine, but I have a little performance problem. It is not very fast to load the different layers. If the layer is loaded, he is in the cache and load the next time faster. Thats ok. I think now, perhaps it is possible to load the next timestamp-Layer in the browser cache while the user looks at the active layer. If the user then clicked at the button, the layer must only load out of the browser cache. I dont know if something like that is possible or not. Perhaps somebody can help me or somebody has already realise something like this. A lot of thanks to you for your help.
