First off, Apache OpenOffice is always free from the official web site, OpenOffice.org, which redirects to the official mirror site, SourceForge. net, when you choose to down load.
Secondly, if you go to the official web site, OpenOffice.org, and go to the tab that is titled "I want to do more..." it will take you to the extension web page. Once there you can click on the tab "Dictionaries" and a french dictionary comes up in the list. Follow the directions there to down load this dictionary. I have sent you a copy of this post, please respond to the users list so that all users subscribed can help you. Please do not respond to me personally.
