Try to have a look at:
Options -> Language settings -> Writing aids
Check the appropriate dictionary.
If not there, the "dictionary" for British English might need to be
downloaded.
And, in the text (select all):
Format -> character -> Fonts -> selected language.
In case of a wrong language selection, everything is (naturally) flagged.
