Yes, a ton of formatting and page breaks. Just moving text is not
optimal. But, I've already done it, so no big deal now. Thank you for
your help!

I was wondering if you could move pages from location A to location D

To answer this properly, one would need to know what it was about
cutting and pasting that you don't like. Cut-and-paste is the obvious
- very simple and effective - method, and you'd need to say what you
don't like about it before anyone could suggest an alternative that
would meet your requirements.
First (and has already been explained), the text in a word processor
document is generally not structured in pages but is a continuous
stream. Unless you have inserted manual page breaks, the concept of a
page is very fluid and variable as you edit the material. You can see
this demonstrated if you select View | Web Layout instead of Print
Layout. What was an integral number of complete pages may not be after
it is placed somewhere else in the document.
But there is a simple answer to your question. Yes: if you select a
block of text you can then drag it with the mouse and drop it in an
alternative location. Does that escape your strictures? You may find
it easier to see what you are doing if you (perhaps temporarily?)
select a significantly smaller zoom factor and larger number of
columns at View | Zoom... .
I trust this helps.
