did you make a backup copy of your document?
even you can see iit in all recent document.
change this setting in openoffice, tools, options, load-save, general
Always create backup copyand checked it.
recuva is the free program that you can easily use it to recoveres your files.
its great for me in recovering some documents which i tested before.
furthermore, it begins with the vizard that can help users to find
there way and guide them.
