I have used OpenOffice less than a week. I am in the process of
switching from MicroS**t (you fill in the *; I don't use of, but a
salutation) WORD and have come a cropper on default. No matter how I
change it or delete it, the next time it rears its ugly head in the
pristine state. I did manage to change the font, but I cannot change the
margins and the spacing permanently. By the way, on the latter, how does
inches relate to font size? In WORD spacing is calibrated in font size.
I have changed one Excel program and I like what I see. I have also
changed one WORD program and I like the change. If only I could get a
default page to my liking!
