FWIW, mine settles in at about 750 MB, when I forget to edit
dictionary.lst. [Which I forgot to do, after seeing what the new
version of OOoDict included.] [WinXP SP2, and hating every bit of it.]

FWIW, that country code is wrong. It should either be ANY or or VA.
[Latin is not spoken by a significant percentage of the population of
Laos.]
Or is that the work around because OOo no longer lists Latin in the
Western Text Language section?

I'd agree with you.

FWIW, my recommendation is that if a person uses two or more
languages, they learn tomanually edit dictionary.lst, and edit it for
the languages that they need for what they are editing.
