Thank you for replying, Peter. I had given up having a response to the
problems I was finding in my
attempts to open OOo.org, so I just unsubscribed to the list. But most of
my former WORD docs are
opening up with this program now, and I'm expecting (hoping) to hear some
response to the several ERRO REPORTs
which Sun Micosys notfied me will be forthcoming.

Two things I asked for help or explanation were: When I copy from a web
page, often the paste into a new OOo document
comes in the form of what I believe are frames, and it exceeds the
boundaries already in the WORD doc I had been pasting in
before. I want to get rid of these, but don't know how, and I've been
unsuccessful in trying to line up the borders with the
previous text I had before.

The other thing, when I was trying to add some text from a web page and
working with OOo I found a message in red at
the top of the page that said: " You currently do not have JavaScript
enabled in your web browser.
The ABA website relies on JavaScript for display purposes.
To fully experience the ABA site, please enable javascript."

How do I enable javascript, and is that done while I am in the
OpenOffice.org in which I have been working?

I would really appreciate getting those two things resolved, and then I
would be happy to use and try to improve the
capabilities of OOo.

 Thank you very much,
       Joan Arch
