I found the problem. I was using the default available GTK themes WITH the
sawfish window manager (in lieu of metacity, the RH default). However, when
I switched from sawfish to metacity, the right-click menus work fine. Maybe
I need to upgrade sawfish...? Thanks anyway. - Dax
