Hmmm... how exactly are you copying and pasting? A simple "Paste" seems to 
preserve links as links, but Edit|Past Special|Unformatted pastes as plain 
text. (Or, click and hold the paste icon until a menu appears, then choose 
"Unformatted text".)

As others have suggested, use Format|Default on selected cells to remove the 
hyperlink properties for entries that have pasted as hyperlinks.
