i would do this using Navigator:
open all files you would like to join into one and open the Navigator (F5). in the lower part of the window, select separate file names you wish to join and click and drag the slides into the new file.
i'm not sure if that's what you want, though.

I don't think so. It sounds like he wants to create a master document for a presentation. Can you do that?
