My guess would be as follows :
for Dictionaries backup the following directory :
<installedDir>\share\dict\ooo
For user settings (eg, autotext, auto correct, reports, templates,
etc...) backup :
<installedDir>\user
Have fun...

Is there a simple way to maintain user files such as autocorrect,
autotext, and custom dictionaries when upgrading the biweekly
betas? I'm not clear on how the file reference system is organized.

Using OOo m69 on WinXP.
Given address is infrequently checked. Please reply to group.
What I was hoping for was a way to point all future versions of OOo to a
common directory that contained my user files, and thus be able to leave
the files in place there. I'd rather change the filespec than have to
copy files each time (from m62 to m65, to m67, to m71, etc.). I think it
can be done, guess I'm going to have to dig into it.

What about *Tools > Options > Paths*
