I would try running the Repair facility. SETUP_GUIDE.pdf does have some
instructions but here is a quicky for you, download 1.1.4 from
openoffice.org to replace whatever RH installed in /usr/lib. RH9 came
with 1.0.2 and was BAD. Likely you have something even older. I would
also ask on a RH list how to repair their version of OOo.
