I installed libwpd and writerfilter, and I read WP files verry well.
I am using Debian unstable with OOo1.1.4 and 1.9.65, both are able to read WP.
In fact I installed the filters with OOo version 1.1.2, and since then I never had to install them again.

I've got 10000s of WP files that I need to convert so that they are readable - never mind formatting - by OOo. I'm converting an entire company to Linux/OOo and this is the last showstopper to overcome.
