Ok, I need to add something here...
mySQL is more like MSSQL Server than MS Access. MS Access is really rather
obsolete from a distributed data point of view - and thats why MS pushs MS SQL
7, 2000 and now 2005. So its not designed to replace Access and Spreadsheet as
a drop in substitute. mySQL is more for the applications when Excel and Access
just don't do it for you anymore. Anybody who has 10 megabyte plus spreadsheets
this basically means you. :)
The front end is not what mySQL (or any SQL RDBMS) is for. Graphical report &
table design is an area that clearly needs to continue to develop though. You
would use mySQL after you have gotten past the design part and have the tables
ready to go, etc.
