But if you have the time to spare and the inclination, we encourage people to test these new interim versions and submit issues to IssueTracker so that we can make the final version the best we can :) If the OOo database component (MS Access like) is important to you, but you don't have the time and have a few Euros to spare, please consider responding to the call for contributions to the HSQLDB project (http://hsqldb.sourceforge.net/web/openoffice.html), the OOo Base database engine.
